Sense control,being the only alternative,to rehearsal for the practice of Bhakti Yoga,altogether depends on the conception of 'Bairagya'. And any slight deviation of the exact idea can simply render all the efforts to vain. Therefore it is utmost essential to accumulate appropriate knowledge of Bairagya.
"Prapanchaki Taya Budhya Hari Sambadhi Bastunah,
Mumukhyu bhi Parityagya Bairagyam Phalgu Kathyate"
So,one has got to introspect through this verse by the help of his knowledge to arrive at a conclusion about the ways of practicing Bairagya. The greatest sage's counsel through his quote is something learnt from his Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu,who anointed him the first Goswami for his observance. Thus we bow down to the lotus feet of Srila Rupa Goswami, who had been so much merciful for the later devotee practitioners. Like this,every Bhakti Yoga practitioner need to be extremely conscious not to let his sadhan efforts to go in vain.
