Many devotees came together at the end of Purushottama month at our Jagannatha Gauranga temple in Bali. It will be another 3 years before this auspicious period comes again so everyone took advantage of being able to offer flowers and lamps to the deities.
This was preceded by my class on the glories of the month followed by an enthusiastic kirtan. The Bali devotees are very fond of kirtan and many have become expert kirtaniyas having learnt from the best in Vrindavan and Mayapur. At the end everyone honoured sumptuous prasadam.
