I was with my companions, the Bhakti Academy students.  They have blazed this trail before.  But, Port Sydney was new for them – the beach and the cascades.  There, we met Joseph, a middle-aged fellow, who is a member of the local Lion’s Club.  He found us interesting with our traditional Vaishnav hairstyles – all shaven with a tuft of hair reserved at the back.  “The significance of the circular spot of hair indicates that there is a God, and that the uncut hair represents that we are dependent on that Creator (if need be, He’ll pull us by the hair out of illusion).”
