They want iskcon to have rathyatras on the same day as Puri festivalanswer :- if a society like iskcon which has like 600 temples and a congregation of estimated 20 million staunch followers and 400 million favourable people if they hold rathyatras on the same day as Puri Festival then who will come to puri for attending the main yatra !i mean the Present audience of 1 million visitors will fall down Drasticallyand one more important point is how reliable are the people who come for the festival who are not from iskcon ! a simple case ! i remember few years back they had stopped the rathyatra without completing it and next day it was no one other then iskcon people to pull it to the main Gundica temple i mean majority was iskcon devotees who pulled it .So my point just like every company has a marketing team to Promote their products worldwide similarly iskcon is a society which is a marketing team for Lordships Jagganath Baladev and Subhadra mayi and all the iskcon rathyatras happening on other times then main festival days are just like Preview and Trial show to attract people for the Main show :)2.What it Represents with the act of Temple Priests and Kings of Puri with thier Support and behaviour by Burning Prabhupada effigy?answer:- Ever since i have been introduced to iskcon and i have attended the festival i was repeatedly told that these Pandas are none other then 4 handed forms of vishnu dutas ,they may look like ordinary people but they are pure devotees and personal associates of Lord Krishna in his Past times.we were always encouraged to give donations to the main temple and i know huge numbers of devotees of iskcon and followers from iskcon who are ministers and other big business mans who give millions of dollars of donations to Puri main temple and they have a very very high respect for all Pandas in thier Hearts and i am sure this incident will help them withdraw their help to the main temple and reduce association from Pandas3.Who are You To decide whether iskcon should have Festivals on the other days or now ?answer :- Lord Ships Jagganath Baladev and Subhadra Mayi are one of the most Favourite worshible form For devotees from iskcon and there have been many cases and past times noted ,wherein Lordships have given Personal association and direct mercy to devotees from iskcon ! {just like Jagganath Temple in mayapur ,unlimited past times ]And they have never felt offensive of iskcon to hold Rathyatras on other days and if they were offended by any chance then Just like the Rath Stops in Puri when Jagganath doesnt want to move similarly Raths would never move at iskcon Rathyatra festivalsSo i Feel iskcon and our acharya has special permissions from Lordships for doing these festivals. and anyone offending these devotees would surely have bad time dealing with Yamaduttas in the hell for eternal time4.What is More important ! Festival dates or the outcome and Purpose of Festival ?answer:- its been my experience since few years dealing with all the devotees and authorities from various societies of the world who criticize and hate iskcon people and their preaching style and my conclusion and analyses was very simple ! none of the person who criticized could ever preach so much as a new devotee from a iskcon does !Festival are meant to introduce the world to share the Glories of Lordships and i ask you !do you see your watch when you meet a person to discuss about lord Krishna ? well as per my belief you would do it any time as Glories of the lord are so great no time can ever bound them !similarly whether the Festival takes place in puri or any other place at anytime ! it will have the same effect that is Preaching the Glories of lord Krishna to all of us Fallen souls and to elevate us to get his mercy and i feel iskcon society is doing at his best and they should get much much high and Royal Treatment Rather then all this Rubbish From Pandas !i declare and accept and agree to take Full Responsibility From the consequences i may face from my above understanding and clarifications about Lordships and you can call me or email me for any further Discussion ! You are right Prabhu . ISKCON Ratha Yatras are fully authorised by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada & thousands have turned to Krishna because of these festivals so why we should follow someone else when we already have our Founder Acarya Instructions & blessings.Infact we should have a Ratha Yatra or a festival everyday in every town & village to reclaim back every soul who is suffering in this material world. These festivals are meant to give us the joy & ecstacy of being Krishna's servant & this is the highest service for any soul in this material world.

I totally agree with your queries and the answers in it. When His Lordship don't have objection, then why others? ISKCON has all the right to fix dates for conducting Rath Yatra at different dates and at different dates for propogating the message of Krsna and His glories

Yes this blog is the most reasonable & responsible view to the situation. We pray to Lord Jaganathji, to bestow his mercy on the fallen souls who have comitted this heinious offense of Vaishnava Aparadha. Spread of Lord's Glories my any means is the medicine of this 11th hour the world is facing, but such show-down & obstacles by the pandas is very, very unfortunate & sad Act.
YOU ARE RIGHT! THE PURPOSE OF RATH YATRA IS TO REMIND ALL VIEWERS ABOUT GOD & HIS GLORIES. SO IT IS BETTER TO HAVE SUCH RATH YATRAS ON AS MANY DAYS AS POSSIBLE ALL AROUND THE WORLD. THAT WAY, MORE PEOPLE WILL BE MOTIVATED TO DEVOTE THEMSELVES TO GOD. THE OBJECTION OF THE PURI PANDAS IS NOT VALID, IN MY OPINION.
