ISKCON UJJAIN

<IT IS THE PLACE OF LEARNING OF SRI SRI KRSNA AND BALARAM. THIS TEMPLE IS IN DIRECT SUPERVISION AND GUIDENCE OF HH BHAKTI CHARU SWAMI GURU MAHARAJ. BUEATIFUL FULLY MARBLE TEMPLE, ASHRAM, GOVINDA'S AND GUEST HOUSE. LET US START WITH THE DITIES
Hare Krishna,dear Devotees.
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All
glories to Guru and Gauranga.

Today in Srimad Bhagavatam class, Arunaksa Prabhu related an amazing story
about the mercy of Radha Madan Mohan.

The water well dried up at the house of one mataji who regularly comes to
the temple and the whole family suffered as a result. The mataji came to
Radha Madan Mohan with all her faith and love and prayed sincerely from her
heart. The next morning the family members were amazed to find the well
filled with water. They were so happy and thankful to Radha Madan Mohan for
this miracle that the prabhu even brought a bucket of water from this well
to the temple to offer to Radha Madan Mohan.

I would like to share two personal experiences with you about the mercy of
Radha Mohan. In Brahma Samhita one sloka states that it is possible to see
Krsna with eyes which are decorates with tears of love and devotion.
Text 38:

premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena

santah sadaiva hridayesu vilokayanti

yam syamasundaram acintya-guna-svarupam

govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami

Krsna is so merciful that He appears in the life of a devotee by some
Divine arrangement even if a devotee is neophyte and in his eyes he has no
tears of love.

Sometimes Krsna in the form of the Deity creates some situation for a
devotee to see if the devotee has faith that He is a Person.

My prabhu was a pujari when the temple was still at the Community Hall. He
used to bathe the Deities after Mangal arati. It was winter and quite cold.
Prabhu bathed the Deities in warm water every day but one day he thought
that he will use cold water instead. That same day he started to suffer
badly from fever and flu, something unusual for prabhu. Like this Radha
Madan Mohan showed that they wanted to take a warm water bath.

The Deities in Ujjain are very beautiful and merciful. They even attract the
mind of someone who doesn’t know anything about the Hare Krishna movement.
here is a excample by Naiyka devi dasi:

"My father is such an example. When I started taking pictures of the Deities
and uploading them to the website for daily darshan I told my father. He is
a Christian and very far removed from Vedic Culture. He doesn’t know much
about computers or the Internet but still he went to our website. At first
he asked me what is the need to post these pictures every day. ‘They are
just statues.’ I thought, ‘No father. If you look every day you will notice
that everything changes, the dress, ornaments, hairstyles and backdrops.’

After about 2 weeks my father said, ‘Oh today the Deities are looking so
beautiful. Their dresses are amazing.’ He enquired everything about the
dress making workshop and said that the people who make the Deity dresses
have 'golden hands'. After that he gradually learned the names of the
Deities and now he even shows the website and Deities to his guests and
explains to them, with his knowledge, about the Deities. He also looks at
all the new pictures in the Picasa web albums of our temple, the Deities and
Guru Maharaja. When he saw pictures of Guru Maharaja’s Vyasa puja he called
all the family members to come and ‘look at the nice festival they celebrate
there.’

In the beginning he was worried about me staying in India. ‘Do they have
electricity and water?’, he asked, but when he saw the temple he was amazed
that we stay near such a beautiful place.

I thank Radha Madan Mohan very much for giving Their darshan to my father
and that he came to know something about Them."
