Former Minister of foreign affairs Sri Sushma Swaraj ji is no more among us.
May Lord Krishna grant His mercy to this soul. In 1998, Sushma Swaraj ji inaugurated our ISKCON Delhi Temple with the then Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji.
Iskcon will always remember the work she did. He helped Moscow temple and Geeta as well. She behaved with great humility and she used to be interested in learning about the spreading of ISKCON.
Condolences:
We pray at the Lotus feet of Sri Sri Krishna Balarama for the departed soul, Sri Sushma Swaraj, ex CM of Delhi and former External affairs minister.

She was a strong protester against the Bhagavad Gita ban in Russia. She addressed Lord Krishna as Supreme Personality of Godhead in her talks. She even recommended Bhagavad Gita to be declared as National book of India. She supported ISKCON firmly in many grounds.

My experience:
Once a devotee got trapped in legal situations in the Middle East. All doors were shut and they were losing hope. The situation was so tense that he can never return to his homeland. So devotees suggested, why don’t we mail to Smt Sushma Swaraj when she was EAM. So devotees mailed her without any great expectation thinking that she will be so busy and would not bother to look into these matters. Within an hour she replied saying that she has recommended the case to the embassy and will be solved at the earliest. It was a shock to see a minister of such high protocol attending to a common man and helping him directly.

Another time, a devotee was robbed in a European country losing his entire belongings like money, passport, bank cards, etc. He and his family were standing with no clue. So someone suggested him to tweet to Smt Sushma swaraj. She immediately replied saying that they should approach the embassy and she arranged for duplicate passport and necessary help within an hour.

She was a better human more than a politician.
