The ISKCON Muskoka community in Huntsville, Ontario, has opened a waiting list for its now open Vaishnava Seniors Home, a residential initiative designed to provide senior devotees with independent accommodation integrated with temple life, devotional association, and community support. The project, which forms part of the recently established ISKCON Muskoka temple complex, is expected to provide up to 10 residential units between late 2026 and 2027.
Located approximately two hours north of Toronto in Canada’s Muskoka region, the initiative reflects a growing conversation within the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) about devotee care and how communities can support aging practitioners who wish to remain connected to spiritual life and association.
