In a bid to make the inauguration ceremony of Tehatta sub-divisional court building in Nadia district auspicious, the devotees of International Society for Krishna Consciousness Mayapur were invited by Hon’ble District Judge Smt. Rai Chatterjee on 1st of September 2018. The function was attended by top notch dignitaries from legal field, government ministers and administrative machinery. The guests included Hon’ble Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court Sri Jyotirmay Bhattacharya, Zonal Judge Hon’ble Justice Smt. Samapti Chatterjee of Calcutta High Court, Hon’ble Minister of Law, West Bengal Government Sri Malay Ghatak, Hon’ble Minister of Correctional Administration Sri Ujjwal Biswas, Chairman of Khadi Gram Udyog Board West Bengal Government Sri Gouri Shankar Dutta and many other stalwarts from legal fraternity.
The team of devotees led by HG Jagadhartia Das, Chief Coordinator of ISKCON Mayapur, reached the venue and helped the bar association members create an environment of Krishna Consciousness. The proceedings began by chanting of Vedic Mantras by the students of Gurukul led by HG Krishna Chaitanya Das. ‘Mangal Ghat’ was offered to all the senior dignitaries by Jagadhartia Prabhu. Post the Gurukula students along with devotees – HG Santa Gauranga Das, HG Damodar Gaur Das, HG Narsimha Das of Mayapur TV, chanted the Hare Krishna Mahamantra which enthralled the audience. As per the Vedic civilization the spiritual start is given as an offering to Lord Vishnu so that in all endeavours, mode of goodness may prevail.
