Incarnations of Vishnu in 7 Manu Epochs & development of human civilization.

                                                                        By Veerendra Ekbote

Lord Vishnu appears on the earthly planet in the material world to establish religion, destroy irreligion by vanquishing miscreants and demons and to protect his pure devotees and increase their devotion unto him.

In the SrimadBhagvatam Purana we find mention of 22 scheduled incarnations of the Supreme Lord. Each of these incarnations appeared during a certain Manu Epoch or Manvantar and performed their various pastimes of protecting human civilization; establishing principles of religion and protecting devotees from miscreants starting from Swayambhuva Manu is the son of Bramha and his wife Shatrupa from whom civilized human population flourished on the earthly planet that followed Vedic religion which was conceived by the 7 sages in the present ShwetaVaraha Kalpa or Bramha’s day. At the end of previous Bramha’s night and the start of the present Swetavaraha Kalpa or Bramha’s day some 1billion 97 million earthly years ago - Lord Vishnu’s Hayashirsha incarnation appeared and after slaying the Haya demon or horse demon who had stolen the Vedic hymns, transmitted those Vedic hymns to the seven Sages who heard the sound vibrations from the neighing done by Hayashirsha incarnation. Thus the Vedas are Apaurusheya knowledge which means even after the destruction of the previous creation the Sages receive Vedic knowledge from Supreme Lord who then preserve Vedic knowledge for the betterment of human civilization and pass it on to their Bramhin descendants who are the preservers of Vedic religion and culture in each millennium or Yuga. The other 3 Varnas namely Kshatriyas – administrative class, Vaishyas – trader class and Shudras – farming and service class assist and support the Bramhinical civilization to thrive that is established by Supreme God himself through scriptural knowledge preserved by Bramhins for the betterment of mankind. Bhartiya culture has always given importance to knowledge and Sages then the administrative class. There are many instances in Bhartiya history when Kshatriya kings and emperors used to pay respect to Sages and Bramhins and give them land and cows in donation for upkeeping their Gurukuls where Vedic knowledge was taught and preserved. According to Vedic Aryans scriptures such as the Puranas which contains authentic history of human civilization on earth - states that humans have always existed on the earthly planet, however during the total or partial devastations which are caused between the Yugas, Mahayugas and Manvantars, human population on earth is diminished or sometimes totally eliminated by the arrangement done by the Supreme Lord and is once again populated by Manu, the Seven Sages, Daksha and Kashyapa in every millennium which is actually Vedic cyclical Yuga, Mahayuga and Manvantar history and is the longest continuous history in the world from the start of creation and is much older in archeological antiquity than the linear Abrahamic history which is shorter because the beginning of time is not mentioned perfectly in archeological antiquity by the authors and historians of Old Testament. In Vedic history time is measured very accurately and minutely as well as in large scale of Kalpa and Vikalpa calculations or Bramha’s lifetime for eg: a Mahayuga comprises of 4 Yugas i.e Satya (1728000 earthly years), Tretayuga is of 1296000 earthly years, Dwaparyuga is of 864000 earthly years and Kaliyuga is of 432000 earthly years. A Mahayuga is a total of 4.32 million earthly years. 1000 Mahayugas make a day of Bramha or Kalpa which is equal to 4 billion 32 million earthly years. In a day of Bramha 14 Manus appear. The duration of each Manu is 71.2 Mahayugas or 308 million earthly years. A lifetime of Bramha or Vikalpa is 432000*2*30*12*100 i.e. 311 trillion 44 billion earthly years. Such type of complex time calculation cannot be found in Abrahamic religions since they don’t measure time cyclically but represent time in a linear manner and hence their history is shorter than Vedic history. The British Christian rulers in order to force their western time calculation based on Abrahamic linear history on Indians simply termed our Vedic and Puranic texts as mythology and negated all the true events that occurred in the long Manvantar history by shortening our Vedic history to just 5000 years by introducing the Aryan invasion theory which is still prevalent today and which places the origin of our great Vedic culture to a foreign land from where the Aryans invaded northern India is absolutely false, baseless and illogical. On the contrary Vedic Aryans spread Vedic culture throughout all the known continents of Europe, Asia and Africa and civilized other Non-Aryan races and spread Vedic culture and civilization until the occurrence of Mahabharat War and also spread after the Mahabharat War to other parts of the world from Bharat some 5000 years ago proves that the Aryans never invaded India.

In the present Bramha’s day of ShevtaVaraha Kalpa the lifespan of 6 Manus is already over and we are presently staying in 7th Vivasvan Manu’s 28th Mahayuga 5115 Kaliyuga year. The Christian British rulers without studying Vedic and Puranic literatures and its truthfulness purposely falsified our long Manvantar history and shortened it to 5000 years and also termed all the historical events in it as mythological for future Indians  to stop studying their own glorious history so that Indians will believe in the linear Abrahamic history as against their own Vedic and Puranic cyclical history which is more accurate, extensive, archeologically deep in antiquity and historically rich and gives account of all events from the start of creation of Bramha or Kalpa. Vedic and Puranic history is theistic and God-centric in nature and starts with the creation done by God, the Supreme God also appears in various incarnations to protect civilization and at the end destroys his cosmic manifestation by the arrangement of Supreme Lord and the dissolution done by Lord Shiva of Universal creation of Bramha. The British rulers by introducing the false Aryan Invasion theory falsified the Vedic and Puranic history to suit their missionary activities.

Bramha’s first creation in this present day of SwetaVaraha Kalpa were the 4 Kumaras who denied to have their own progeny, then Lord Rudra was born out of Bramha’s anger who manifests destruction of his previous creation and in this creation Rudra assists Bramha to create progeny and annihilate the cosmic creation once again. The 3 principal Gods Bramha, Vishnu and Shiva tested Devi Anusuya’s chastity and being pleased with Sage Atri’s penance appeared as Lord Dattatreya who is considered to be the supreme mystic and in whom Lord Bramha appeared as Soma, Lord Vishnu as Lord Dattatreya and Lord Shiva appeared as the mystic Sage Durvasa. Lord Kapila incarnation of Vishnu was born as the son of Mata Devahuti and Sage Kardama who propounded the theistic Sankhya philosophy to the world. Nar Narayan Rishi were the sons of Dharma who performed severe penances and were again reborn as Arjuna and Lord Narayan or Krishna in Dwaparyuga to establish Dharma. Nar Naryana also destroyed 999 times the Kavach given by Suryadev of the demon Dambhodak who personified pride. The 1000th time the demon Dambhodak was reborn as Karna, the son born from Suryadev and Kunti before her marriage and was killed by Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Nar Narayan Rishi are worshipped in the temple of Badrinath to this day.  All these incarnations guided human civilization in the first Manu Epoch of Swayambhuva and will be present throughout Brahma’s 14 Manu Epoch’s to guide human civilization.

During Swarochisha Manu Epoch there was partial destruction of the earthly planet and the Supreme Lord appeared as Matsya and Kurma incarnations saving the earthly planet from getting flooded. SamudraManthan occurred during Chakshusha Manvantar when Bali Maharaj – the king of demons assisted the demigods in acquiring Nectar. Lord Vishnu once again appeared as Kurma incarnation from getting the Mandar Mountain drowned into the milk ocean. The Supreme Lord can take incarnations on the earthly planet as per his wish at any time and in any form to establish religion and destroy irreligion as and when needed to control the balance between piety and impiety and to protect piety. Lifeforms in water such as aquatics and amphibians appeared on earthly planet from Swayambhuva and Swarochisa Manu Epochs along with the development of human civilization on earthly planet which negates Darwin theory of evolution of humans from apes some 2 million earthly years ago. Darwin’s theory of evolution is also not approved by many western biologists and anthropologists and is not a confirmed and proved theory which also negates Vedic Aryan theory of evolution of species. According to Vedic Aryans the theory of evolution is based on desire of the Soul which accepts bodies into various 8400000 species at the time of death, lives in that particular body, performs various actions or Karma and based on the accumulated Karmas and desires gets once again embodied in newer species until he achieves human birth in which he is able to perform devotion unto the Supreme Lord and gain Self-realization by which he attains liberation from repeated cycle of birth and death wherein the Jivatma or Spirit Soul attains the supreme destination of Spiritual world or Vaikuntha in which there is eternal life in the kingdom of God. Vedic Aryans believed in the eternality of Soul and the temporal nature of body which keeps on changing. Therefore Vedic Aryans had divided their lives into 4 ashrams or stages of spiritual development namely Bramhachari – celibate student life, Grihasta- married life, Vanaprastha – retired life and Sanyas – life of renunciation. All these stages were governed by the fourfold stages of human development of Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha which means following ones Dharma in life, achieving wealth for material comforts, fulfilling ones desires and while doing so striving for liberation which is the ultimate goal of human life. Yajna incarnation appeared during Swarochisa Manvantar who taught mankind the importance of performing Yajna or sacrifice by which there is overall development of environment and human society as it leads to good rains that yields nice crop harvest and grazing fields for livestock. Performance of sacrifices leads to continuation of good progeny by the mercy of Supreme Lord who is himself Yajnapati or enjoyer of all sacrifices and accepts various offerings given to him by qualified Bramhin priests. The formulation of fire sacrifices with mantras is given in RigVedic and Yajurvedic texts of Vedic literatures which are recited by Bramhin priests. Just as Lord Krishna taught in Dwaparyuga about the importance of deity worship, similarly Yajna incarnation taught the importance of fire sacrifice in Tretayuga. Prior to the age of Tretayuga when sacrifices used to be performed, the Sages in Satyayuga used to meditate for long years unto the SuperSoul present within their hearts for gaining Self-realization and liberation. In the present Kaliyuga the Yugadharma is Japa or chanting of holy names as prescribed by Supreme Lord Krishna and demonstrated by his incarnation Lord Chaitanya who appeared as the devotee of the Supreme Lord Krishna.

During the next Uttam Manvantar human civilization was guided by Uttam Manu who was the son of Swayambhuva Manu. Swayambhuva Manu had 2 sons Uttam and Priyavarta. Emperor Priyavarta began ruling Uttam Manvantar and had 2 sons Dhruva Maharaj from Suniti and one from his other wife Suruchi. Once Suruchi insulted Dhruva Maharaj who was sitting on his father’s lap and told him to worship Vishnu in the forest to get his rightful seat. Dhruva became sad by this insult and retired to the forest after being pacified by his mother Suniti and was guided by Narada Muni to worship Lord Narayan by chanting the Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudevaya mantra. Dhruva Maharaj then retired to Madhuvan to do penance by meditating upon the lotus feet of Lord Vishnu or Narayan. Dhruva Maharaj pleased Lord Narayan who appeared as Prishnigarbha incarnation before Dhruva Maharaj and benedicted him with Dhruvapad, a star from where he will serve him, he was also given his right to rule his rightful kingdom and was blessed by Lord Narayan that he will return to the spiritual world after his stay on earth as the Emperor. Dhruva then regained his royal responsibilities and was welcomed by his family members. In the lineage of Dhruva, Pruthu Maharaj appeared as the incarnation of Vishnu to establish just rule on earth and make earth filled with its riches once again and make it fertile for surplus agricultural produce for its inhabitants because when the earth in the form of cow was angry on its inhabitants due to the increase in sinful activities done under the leadership of king Vena. King Vena was punished by the Bramhinical order and then out of sacrificial arena arranged by Bramhins Emperor Pruthu was born. From Pruthu Maharaj our earth is known as Prithvi. In the descendancy of Pruthu Maharaj down the line Emperor Risabhdev appeared as an incarnation of Vishnu. He was the son of King Nabhi and Merudevi His rule was just and able and he ruled for many years over the earthly planet. He taught his children about performing tapasya and about the path of sannyasa. Risabhdev retired to the forest to perform severe austerities and penance in the Himalayas and became an ascetic. He is considered one of the Tirthankars of Jain religion and the development of Jainism as a offshoot of Vedic religion can be traced to Uttam Manvantar. After his nirvana or attaining salvation he was worshipped by Indra and other Demigods while Rishabhdev ascended to his planetary system in Vaikuntha.

After Uttam Manvantar which experienced development of human civilization without fear from demoniac forces on the earthly planet, the following Manvantars that followed after Uttam Manvantar i.e. Tamasa, Raivata and Chaksuhasha Manvantars witnessed the age of ferocious Dinosaurs or Danav Asuras on the earthly planet that lasted for approximately 950 million earthly years. This history of the fierce fighting between Danavas and Asuras against their enemies the pious Demigods or Devas, humans and birds headed by Garuda is depicted in several Sanatan Vedic Puranas such as Bhagvatam, Garuda, Vishnu and Bramhavaivarta Puranas proves that modern scientific discovery of Dinosaurs as ferocious beasts and animals matches with the Vedic theistic history of Danavas and Asuras who were similar to Dinosaurs i.e. greater in height, body, weight and strength and were always against the process of civilization and attacked theistic worshippers of Demigods, the humans and also attacked hermitages of various Sages that protected Vedic civilization from their onslaught. The origin of both Demigods and Demons was from Sage Kashyapa who had many wives and from each wife he begot different type of children. From Kashyapa and Aditi, Demigods were born, from Kashyapa and Diti, Detyas or demons were born. From Kashyapa and Danu, Danavas or ferocious demons were born. From Kashyapa and Kadru serpents or Nagas were born and from Kashyapa and Vinita, the king of birds and the carrier of Lord Vishnu namely Garuda was born. All these progeny born from Kashyapa in the 3 Manvantars of Tamasa, Raivata and Chakshusha fought for supremacy and control over the resources of the earthly planet. The demons headed by the sons of Diti namely Hiranyaksha in Tamasa Manvantar and Hiranyakashipu in Raivata Manvantar challenged the heavenly demigods and were a source of constant fear for the thriving of Vedic civilization on the earthly planet. In order to end Hiranyaksha’s menace Lord Vishnu appeared in the form of Varaha or boar incarnation during Tamasa Manvantar when Hiranyaksha plunged mother earth into the depths of Garbhodak ocean. Many lifeforms were destroyed as a result on earth. Lord Varaha seeing the situation fought with the ferocious demon Hiranyaksha and killed him in battle and restored the earthly planet to its original orbital position.

Enraged at the death of his elder brother by Lord Vishnu’s Varaha incarnation during Tamasa Manvantar, Hiranykashipu performed severe penance during Raivata Manvantar to please Lord Bramha for acquiring boons from him. Bramha being pleased by Hiranyakashipu’s penance gave him the boon as he desired that he will be neither killed by any man or animal, in daytime or in nighttime, in house or out of the house which made him strong to commit atrocities against the devotees of Vishnu. Thus Hiranyakashipu thought that he has now became immortal and started tormenting and torturing whoever worshipped Lord Vishnu and stopped fire sacrifices meant for the Demigods. He also conquered the planets of Demigods who then approached Lord Vishnu for help. However, the son of Hiranyakashipu – Prahlad was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. The demon knowing this fact started torturing him in many ways so that he will not become a devotee of Lord Vishnu however Prahlad Maharaj remained steadfast in his devotion to Vishnu which made Hiranyakashipu more angry. In the end, Hiranyakshipu in a fit of rage asked Prahlad that whether your God exists in this pillar to which Prahlad Maharaj replied ‘Yes’. The demon Hiranyakashipu then struck that pillar with his mace and out appeared Lord Vishnu’s Narsimha incarnation which look very fearsome having lion’s head and claws and human body. Lord Narsimha immediately killed Hiranyakashipu on his lap with his sharp claws by tearing his stomach and saved his son and devotee Prahlad. Lord Narsimha then installed Prahlad to the throne of demons and made him the ruler of Raivata Manvantar until Prahlad’s son Virochana ruled the earthly planet.

Virochana in the next Chakshusha Manvantar was killed by a serpent due to his enmity with the Nagas and his son Bali Maharaj who was devotee of Lord Vishnu started ruling the demons or Danavasurs during Chakshusha Manvantar Bali Maharaj was the grandson of Prahlad Maharaj who was protected by Lord Narsimha. The Devas approached Bali Maharaj and the demons to assist them in churning the milk ocean (Samudramanthan) in order to acquire nectar on the advice of Lord Vishnu when the Devas had approached Lord Vishnu for help against the powerful demons. Thus mount Mandar was used as a pivot and the serpent Vasuki was used to churn the milk ocean. The tail of the serpent was held by the Demigods and the side were the serpent’s head lay was hold by the demons. Thus the Devas remained fairskinned and beautiful and the demons face and body was blackened due to the fire and venom spewed from the serpent Vasuki’s mouth.  First came the deadly poison Halalal which was consumed by Lord Mahadev and then came other Ratnas such as Kamdhenu cow, Ucchaishrava horse, the elephant Airavat, Parijat tree, Kalpavriksha tree, Chintamani gem. Apsaras which were taken by Demigods, Goddess Lakshmi, Kaustubh Gem was taken by Lord Vishnu and then atlast came the inventor of medical science Lord Dhanvantari with the pot of nectar in his hand. The demons on seeing the pot of nectar immediately snatched from his hand. Lord Vishnu then assumed the illusory beauty of Mohini incarnation to deceive the demons in giving the pot of nectar to her and distributed nectar to the Demigods. However the demons Rahu and Ketu disguised as Demigods began drinking nectar who were pinpointed by Sun and moon to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu then immediately cut their heads with his Sudarshan disc. Rahu and Ketu therefore cursed Sun and moon of getting eclipsed by them. Bali Maharaj under the guidance of his Guru Shukracharya started performing 1000 Ashwamedha Yagyas to which Indra and the other devas got frightened as Bali Maharaj was in pursuit of Indrapad. Therefore the Devas approached Vishnu who assumed the form of a Dwarf Bramhin Vaman incarnation as the son of Aditi and Sage Kashyapa to end the menace of demons on the face of earth. Lord Vaman approached the sacrificial arena where Bali Maharaj was performing the Ashwamedha sacrifice and being a just an dfair Emperor and a devotee of Vishnu he ignored the words of his Guru Shukracharya and offered everything to the Supreme Lord Vaman including his head and bowed before Lord Vaman who then assumed a gigantic form covering his first leg with the upper planetary sytem until Vaikuntha , his second leg covered the earthly planet and the all the lower planetary system and with his third leg he plunged Bali Maharaj into the depths of Patala planetary system and made him the emperor of Patala and himself stood as the guardian of Patala and benedicted Bali Maharaj that in the next day of Bramha he will become the first Manu. Thus Vaman incarnation ended the Dinosaur age or the age of ferocious Danavas and Asuras on earth who were not letting thrive Vedic civilization and human development on the earthly planet.

After the end of Bali’s rule on earth, Vaman gave earthly planet to Kashyapa and his descendants the Caucasoid race in the next Vivasvan Manu Epoch who ruled the earthly planet with other 2 races namely Mongoloid and Negroids which originated in East Asia and Africa respectively. Caucasoid race originated in India from the descendants of Sage Kashyap, the Vedic Aryans who initially spread from Kashmir (Kashyap mir) then settled in Gandhar or modern day Afghanistan and settled as far as, the plateau of Iran east of the Kashyap Sea or present day Caspian Sea in Central Asia. The Vedic Aryans had already settled on the banks of Seven rivers in Northern India. The region south of Vindhyas or peninsular South India was known as PanchDravid and comprised of the 5 modern Indian states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra. The descendants of Kashyapa from Diti, Danu, Kadru settled in Europe, Mediterranean and Middle East west of the Caspian Sea. The names of some of the European countries such as Deustchland, Dutch have originated from Diti and the river Danube, Don, Dneiper has its origin from Kashyapa’s wife Danu whose descendants had settled there and are still existing. The country Denmark and its settlers Danes have their origin from Danu. Thus the IndoEuropeans spread from India at the start of the present Vivasvan Manu, however since the Aryans settling west of Caspian Sea were descendants of Detyas, Danavas and the settlers of West Asia were descendants of Kadru or Naga such as the Phani tribe or Phonecians which settled throughout the Mediterranean, Yavana, Mlenchas and other meat eaters they opposed the civilizing process of Vedic Aryans and remained averse in practicing Vedic culture and civilization. However the Vedic Aryans spread Vedic civilization throughout the known lands of Aryan settlements and into the land of Mongols and Negrito race and made them adopt the ideals of Vedic civilization. This was a peaceful process of Vedic Aryans to spread their culture and civilization by making uncivilized world civilized and adopt Vedic Aryan way of life. Those who opposed this civilizing process were punished or subdued by Aryan kings and Emperors in battles by doing Rajasuya and Ashwamedha sacrifices wherein a Chakravarti Samrat Emperor would rule the world and all the people from all the lands would accept his rule and flag such as King Dashrath, Lord Ram and the kings in Solar and Lunar dynasties performed Rajsuya and Ashwamedha Yagyas and rule the ntire earthly planet. Emperor Yudhisthira 5000 years ago during Mahabharat period performed the Rajasuya sacrifice under the instructions of Lord Krishna and ruled the entire earthly planet and also after the Mahabharat War after regaining his kingdom from the irreligious Kauravas.

King Ambarish ruled during the 1st Mahayuga of the present Vivasvan Manvantar in Solar dynasty. During Vivasvan Manvantar the solar dynasty beginning from Vivasvan Manu ruled the earthly planet and the kings and emperors belonging to this dynasty guided Vedic civilization. The geneology of kings belonging to Suryavamsha dynasty are from Sage Marichi who is a Bramharishi or born from Lord Bramha. Kashyapa was born from Sage Marichi and Lord Vaman handed over the earthly planet to Sage Kashyapa and his descendants. The son of Sage Kashyapa was Vivasvan or Sun-God and from him the solar dynasty has descended which ruled Vaivasvat Manu Epoch.

The above genealogy of kings and emperors belonging to Suryawamshi and Chandrawamshi dynasties from the start of Vivvasan Manu Epoch till the invasion of Islam over India and the kings belonging in Kaliyuga are confirmed as per Puranic records and  are thus authenticated history of the earthly planet and BharatKhand. The origin of Abrahamic history which starts 8200 years ago from Adam and Hawa also has its root in Bharat or India. Adam and Hawa or Eve then settled in Mesopotamia or Mleccha desh as they lost Paradise and that Paradise is BharatKhand or land of civilized Vedic Aryans because of the curse they got from Supreme God and that is the start of the linear Abrahamic history of Jews, Christians and Islam in Middle east as mentioned in Old Testament which was guided by many prophets beginning from Adam till Mohammad who was the founder of Islam. In Abrahamic history Prophets belonging to Jews, Jesus Christ who founded Christianity and Mohammad who founded Islam doesn’t confirm this fact  to their followers that Abrahamic history was rooted in India in order to show philosophical difference from their mother religion namely Sanatan Dharma. Bhartiya Vedic Manvantar history is not linear unlike Abrahamic history and is cyclical as it involves occurrences of Yuga, Mahayuga and Manvantar time periods which experiences creation and dissolution cyclically and the development of human civilization as shown above in the genealogical chart.

In the above genealogical chart the lines and names which have been bolded signify important events during Vivasvan Manvantar history such as Parshuram Avatar who annihilated irreligious Kshatriya clans 21 times from the face of earth, appearance of Ganga on the earthly planet due to penance done by Emperor Bhagirath to please Lord Shiva, Ram Avatar and the destruction of Rakshahsha or aboriginal civilization in southern India by killing of Demon Ravana because he abducted Rama’s wife Sita and annihilated his demoniac followers followed by Dravidian culture in Southern india under guidance of Sage Agastya. During Dwaparyuga reign of  kings in Chandrawamsha dynasty such as Kuru and Yadu over Northern India and Turvasha, Anu, Druhyu rule Mlechha lands in Europe and Central Asia, Dasharadyna War and rule of Bharat in Aryavarta in Dwaparyuga, Krishna Avatar, Mahabharat War and rule of Pandavas followed by Desertification of Saraswati river valley which was followed by thee period of the rule of 16 Mahajanpadas or 16 kingdoms over northern India till the appearance of Lord Buddha. The genealogical chart also describes the present day Indian states according to their cultural divisions which are 18 in number.

Thus the above Bhagvatam 7 Manu Epoch or Manvatar history of human development is the real history of the world. To exemplify Bhagvat history by establishing its philosophy and spreading  devotion to the Supreme Lord amongst the masses many Acharyas and Saints appeared during Bhakti movement from 10th century onwards in India such as Ramanujacharya, Madhvacharya, Nimbarakachrya, the saints in Warkari sect from Saint Dnyneshwar to Saint Tukaram, in eastern India Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared as Lord Krishna himself along with his other associates to establish Sankitan movement and spread teachings of Bhagvat sect  amongst the masses. Lord Chaitanya established Gauda sect to propagate his teachings amongst the masses. Meerabai, Tulsidas revived Bhagvat Bhakti in Northern India.. Bhagvat Bhakti can be revived and established by not considering Bhagvat Purana and the stories in it as mythology but as real historical events since SrimadBhagvat Purana is the golden ripen fruit of all Vedic literatures and it makes people aware of the great Indian history and its theistic God-centric cultural tradition. By establishing faith in Bhagvat history people will be attracted to know Bhagvat philosophy which will eradicate atheism in society and spread devotion unto the Supreme Lord which can be achieved very easily by having faith in scriptures, Guru and Sadhu for achieving the ultimate destination of Vaikuntha wherein a person escapes repeated cycle of birth and death. Now the time has come to establish Bhagvat history after 800 years of foreign rule and make it the real authentic history of not only Bharat or India but also the world and of the universe since its creation as it is the root of all histories.
