In the world, but not of the world

As Jesus Christ said, “We are in this world but not of this world.” To be in this world, but not of this world means the spiritual conception of life. We are above; we are transcendental to all the miseries, which are inevitable in this world. Such a spiritual person alone can actually create peace on Earth. Because he or she can enliven and illuminate others to get out of this world by being transcendental to the repetition of birth and death. So, as spiritualists, as devotees of God, our prayer is not just for peace on Earth. We would like that to happen and will try our best, but our prayer is that as many people on this Earth get out, rise above the bodily concept, be in this world, but not of this world, be in tune with the soul and with God. This is the purpose of chanting the Holy Names of the Lord: to transcend the temporary conditions, which are the source of all problems in this world. When one tastes the sweet fruit of love of God, one becomes completely satisfied, so nourished, that even in this life, one no longer has to suffer.
