bhayam dvitiyabhinivesatah syad
isad apetasya viparyayo ’smrtih
tan-mayayato budha abhajet tam
bhaktyaikayesam guru-devatatma

Fear arises when a living entity misidentifies himself as the material body because of absorption in the external, illusory energy of the Lord, called maya. When the living entity thus turns away from the Supreme Lord, he also forgets his own constitutional position as a servant of the Lord. Therefore, an intelligent person should engage
unflinchingly in the unalloyed devotional service of the Lord, under the guidance of a bona fide spiritual master, whom he should accept as his worshipable deity and as his very life and soul.
By the association of Vaisnavas we can have a very pure guru - a sad-guru (a self-realized guru). If we take shelter in his lotus feet, he will take full charge of our lives. He will take all kinds of responsibility for our lives and he will teach how to do devotional service to Krsna. Guru-devatatma. First, we must think that guru is our atma, our life and soul. Being totally surrendered to him, we must depend solely on him. Tan abhajet. Tan means the Supreme Lord, Krsna. If we serve Krsna under the guidance of sad-guru, then certainly, like magic, we will be out of maya.

It is the only truth mataji a sad-guru? A guru the true guru always show you direction free from maya and else. To know if you have meet one such sad-guru, it is like how you love Krishna, you miss sad-guru same way and i met sad-guru who is our Sri Srilaprebhupada where i first met him in 1983 and it is like magnet you attract to his charm and never wanted to know an other sad-guru so you feel and i did and i feel same even to this day.
Once one devotee asked me when did i first meet Sri Srilaprebhupada? I replied by saying the truth, in 1983? He got surprised look but never asked me back how could you meet in 1983? I meant was, i first seen statue of Sri Srilaprebhupada in ISKCON TEMPLE. it meant i met spiritually. It is like you Mataji, you give so much direction and devotion within, who would not call you a sad-guru true knowledge keeps you away from lust and maya.

Very well said, mathaji! I was reading the diary notes of His holiness Jayapataka swamy maharaj, his recent visit to Malaysia, he has said, one who takes shelter with second guru when his first guru is available, will never get another guru in 10 million lifes, as narrated in CC.
