How We Fell from the Spiritual World?

I find it hard to understand the fact that we are originally part and parcel of Krishna but we have fallen from the spiritual world. My question is: Who would get distracted or attracted towards material world when Krishna is all-attractive, all powerful and the source of all happiness? One can only think of leaving Krishna when there is something better and more powerful than Him. Also, even if there is a slightest chance of returning to this material world, what is the point in trying to reach the spiritual world, Goloka Vrindavana? Please help me understand this better. Answer: Incomprehensible Free Will Abuse

You are finding it hard to understand how we fell from the spiritual world because it is incomprehensible. Why would a child stick his hand in the fire after his parents warned him not to? A foolish child out of curiosity may stick his hand in the fire once, but he will not do it a second time. Therefore, now after you have foolishly burned yourself in this material existence, if you will make your determination to go back to Godhead, once achieving that most sublime deathless realm, you will not stick your hand in the fire again. I had asked the same question to a devotee.. That Prabhu gave a very nice answer. We fell from the spiritual world because of the misuse of our minute independence we had. Though we were self satisfied and blissful but because of our independence we had a tendency to misuse it and we were sent to this prison house called material world. for eg there might be a very rich, filthy rich man with a huge possession and a very beautiful wife. But still because he has the independence he might have atendency to make money by illegal means, by cheating others and becoming still more rich. He might have the tendency to have illicit relations with other women though he has a very beautiful wife. Inspite of having everything he might have a tendency to misuse his independence and if he is caught he will be put behind bars. In the same way we fell down from spiritual world.

But Krishna promises us that once we return back to Godhead we will never come back to this material world(BG 8.21). He will give us the rememberance of all our extreme sufferingas in the material world right from being in the bodies of lower forms of life from the plants to the aquatics, birds, beasts and then humans. When we see this we will never do that same mistake again..
