The very successful reunion of Krishna house/ Bhakti Academy initiatives in new Vrindaban was now behind us. We had the good fortune to take part in Cleveland's Sunday Sanga, which was nice, and then for now a flight to Newark Airport that took me to New Jersey and to my hosts Haripada and Sindhamini and the hills where bears do roam.

Everything here is fairly much in full green height, including the garlic – mustard and aromatic honey suckle. The deck of their home near Towaco, is expansive and a real restful welcome for one who's been on the road and in the air. This time of the year cannot be beat.

The arrangement for the early evening was a sangha gathering. The house filled up and a combined fusion of east and west coast came together. The western front of devotees were present on the screen. Yes, it's my Monday get together with them via zoom. Our reflection of the day was worse 2.60 in the Gita and was worthy of discussion.

"The senses are so strong and impetuous, O Arjuna, that they forcibly carry away the mind even of a person of discretion who is endeavouring to control them."

As usual, our group reads the content, verse and purport, followed by my opening remarks, and then a discussion amongst us. So the west and east converged in dialogue dwelling mostly on practical responses in dealing with the strong urges imposed upon us.

Of all our solutions to addressing the personal onslaught, seeking shelter of sangha, positive association was at the top of the list based on the gathering’s consensus. How true it is!
