HOW TO FOCUS ON KRISHA AT WORK?

Hare Krishna

I work in a call center and find it very difficult to be around non-devotees at work. I chant my 16 rounds daily and read bhagvad gita everyday but at work not able to focus my mind on Krishna. I beg Krishna daily to rid me of this misery. I spend most of time at work and being around non-devotees affect my consciousness. I try as much as I can to sit away from the non-devotees and eat alone as don't like to sit with people who eat non-vegetarian food and try to chant at work in my mind as much as possible but people constantly talking around me distracts me away from Krishna. Wherever I sit someone is always there who is very loud or irritating. I can't leave my job as need to maintain myself. Please tell me what to do.

I would like to congratulate you for chanting 16 rounds daily. You are doing really well. Work at call center is hectic and frustrating. Despite of such environment, you are focused on Krishna and chant and read. This is Krishna's mercy. When we make a step ahead towards Krishna, Krishna also helps us in advancing. To be very honest, I am not able to chant regularly. But, I remember him while studying, reading or walking too.

Do not focus on quantity, focus on quality. You are divine as you chant the prescribed number of rounds.

Do not think much. When at work, focus on work and tell Krishna to help you work better. Also, do not isolate yourself too much at work too. Isolating yourself is not the solution.

Be positive towards people. Do not make them feel inferior. Make good friends at work. Good relations with people at work place help us sustain even in a bad working place. Maintain a balance - not all people in this world are devotees and that doesn't mean you show your back to the ones who are not devotees.

Be humble. Think Positively. Continue chanting.
    Krishna will surely help

    All the best.
