How material over-endeavor is useless?

Hare Krishna!

Material prosperity has become only aim of human civilization because people vision have got limited due to improper education (lack of vedic education).
People are working so hard thinking as if they are doing very significant work for themselves and the society..

Due to poor fund of knowledge or ignorance about vedic scriptures, they cannot see beyond matter. But actually, we are not material. we are spirit souls. This is the 1st knowledge given by Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna. This knowledge brings freedom from fear, lamentation and anxiety, universal brotherhood, positive outlook, impetus for proper resources distribution, natural equality at spiritual platform. There are so many advantages of this knowledge. And there r so many disadvantages of unnecessary struggle for material prosperity..

  1. Anything material does not touch the spirit soul. Because the spirit soul is eternal, always existing. But material resources of comfort are changeable and perishable. Secondly, there is duality associated with it. If we want happiness, then distress will also come. Practically, all the material scientific solutions are bringing 10 new material problems. Thirdly, nothing is perfect. No perfect material solution is given by scientists and cannot be given as no material prosperity can stop birth,old-age,disease and death. All material endeavours for happiness leads to exhaustion and still dis-satisfaction.
  2. Happiness or taste can come only from mutual reciprocation of love and care in relationships. In other words, genuine relationships only gives happiness. But, all these rat-race for material comforts and sense-gratification are making joint families into nuclear and nuclear into split families. This is the price we are paying for our ignorance. Hence, this unnecessary trouble/endeavor gives trouble to people who grew us, to our ownselves and it is going to give troubles to our abondoned, innocent, next generation also.
