Historical facts in Bhagvat Purana & comparision between Dharmic & Abrahamic history

SrimadBhagvatam is known as spotless Purana and is hence called as ‘Amala Purana’. It is the golden ripen fruit of all Vedic literatures. It is God Krishna himself who after ascending to his own Goloka Vrindavandham in Vaikuntha after completing his earthly pastimes on earth once again appeared on earth in the form of SrimadBhagvatam in the form of devotional service or Bhakti because Lord Krishna disappeared alongwith Gyan and Vairagya i.e. spiritual knowledge and renunciation with him from the earthly planet. Therefore VedVyas who is considered as the literary incarnation of Lord Krishna after writing the epic Mahabharat and Vedanta Sutra became despondent. Thereafter on the instruction of his spiritual master Sage Narada in order to inundate the world with Bhakti or devotion unto the Supreme Lord, Srila Vyasdeva wrote the voluminous SrimadBhagvatam Purana which is also a running commentary on his Vedanta Sutra. Vedanta means end of Vedas and to know Supreme Lord Krishna as the Param Purushottam Bhagvan is the objective of the Vedas and to know that the Supreme Lord Krishna has a beautiful personal form which is all attractive and who is performing pastimes and activities which are transcendental and by surrendering unto him in loving devotion a person attains mercy and liberation of the Supreme Lord  is the prime message of SrimadBhagvatam which proclaims ‘Krishnas to Bhagvan Swayam’ which means Lord Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Bhagvat Purana therefore describes the various names, fame, forms, pastimes and paraphernalia of the Supreme Lord Krishna and his Vishnu incarnations in detail and gives us vivid description about the activities of the Supreme Lord’s various devotees that appeared in Bhagvat Manvantar history.

SrimadBhagvatam contains history of Cosmic creation from its beginning, the creative impetus by Lord Vishnu and birth of Bramha, creation by Lord Bramha such as 4 Kumaras, Rudras, 7 sages, Narada, Manu and Daksha. The history of the 7 Manu Epochs and the principal events which happened in them such as the protection of Vishnu devotees and killing of demons by the Supreme Lord’s various incarnations, the history that occurred in the 28 Mahayugas of Vivasvan Manvantar or Epoch until the occurrence of Mahabharat period 5000 years ago before the beginning of present day Kaliyuga.  The 2 principal dynasties i.e. Suryavamsa - Solar and Chandravamsa - Lunar in the present 7th Vivasvan Manu Epoch in which Lord Ram and Lord Krishna appeared, Bhagvat Purana also describes the symptoms of Kaliyuga, degraded kings and dynasties in Kaliyuga. However in Kaliyuga by chanting the Supreme Lord’s holy names people will achieve liberation, mercy and Self-realization as the holy names are non-different from the Supreme Lord Krishna. In the 12th Canto of Bhagvat Purana dissolution of cosmic manifestation as seen by Markandeya Rishi is described. The entire Bhagvatam was  recited by Vyasdeva’s son Shukadeo Goswami before the assembly of Sages and to King Parikshit who was about to be killed by the serpent-bird Takshak in 7 days time because of the curse got by the son of Shamika rishi.

Bhartiya Indic tradition follows theistic history which starts with the word of God or Shabda Bramha or Omkar from the spiritual world which was heard by Lord Bramha from the Supreme Lord’s Venunaad or flute in deep meditation. Lord Bramha then received creative impetus to create his material universe. Similarly Lord Shiva at the time of dissolution of cosmic creation created by Lord Bramha is again represented by Omkar. Thus the divine syllable Omkar is represented by creation done by Bramha, preservation done by Vishnu and his incarnations and dissolution done by Lord Shiva of the entire cosmic manifestation.  Omkar mantra is therefore a very important Vedic mantra and every Vedic hymn starts with it. Lord Krishna also describes in Bhagvad Gita’s 10 chapter that among divine sound ‘I am Omkar’. The divine sound of Omkar emanates from Bramhan from which  all material universes are created by MahaVishnu and is also known as Mahat-tattva. Bramhan also separates the innumerable material universes from the spiritual world. Therefore when once again birth of new creation or material universe takes place after the lifetime of our Bramha ends which is known as Vikalpa, new material universe is created by the inhalation of MahaVishnu who lies on the Casual Ocean in YogaNidra sleep. All this description can be found in the Vedic and Puranic texts including SrimadBhagvatam Purana and epics such as Ramayan and the Mahabharat confirm this fact  that of cyclical occurrences of Manu Epochs, the existence of Mahayugas and the individual 4 Yugas therein that occurs cyclically. This proves that Bhartiya Indic history is cyclical and not linear like Abrahamic history which is also monotheistic like Dharmic history and has its root in Dharmic history, however Abrahmic history or Biblical history is very short and linear as it has no defined timespan of when creation started as compared to theistic cyclical Bhartiya history which proves it history by time cycles. The famous example in Biblical Abrahamic history where creation of this cosmic manisfestation is very abrupt as is in described in the Book of Exodus in the Old Testament wherein the Supreme God Yahweh or Illohi says ‘Let there be light and creation began for 7 days and 7 nights and on the 7th day the Abrahmic God went to rest after he created this cosmic manifestation. Therefore the Jews observe Saturday as holiday or Sabbath – the day of rest, the Christians on Sunday and Muslims on Friday.  This is the perfect example of linear history as compared to cyclical history of Sanatan Dharma which is long, accurate and vivid.

After the Biblical God made creation he created man from himself and Adam’s wife Eve was created from his right rib. God named them Adam and Eve who started living in the Garden of Eden where they were told by God to not eat the forbidden fruit which was guarded by the serpent or otherwise they will be banished forever. The serpent deceived Adam to eat the forbidden fruit which he readily ate and God became angry on Adam and Eve and banished them from the Garden of Eden. It is believed that the Garden of Eden is in modern day Mesopotamia which is the seat of Abrahamic civilization. The Mesopotamians believe that the origin of mankind is in Bharat or India and that Adam came from India and has its origin in India. However the civilized Aryans have descended from Manu which means having advanced mind and call themselves Manushya. Adam in Sanskrit means Adim or uncivilized. Therefore hypothetically speaking if Adam has its origin in civilized Aryavarta he is banished from the borders of Aryavarta whose border extended till modern day Iran. Therefore Adam must have crossed Iran and then settled in Mesopotamia with his wife Eve in the Garden of Eden where again he was banished by God after eating the forbidden fruit. However  after settling in the mountains north of Mesopotamia he started his descendency in whose line great prophets like Noah appeared who protected Mesopotamians from flood as somewhere indulged in idol worship which was forbidden in the Abrahmic world, Abraham therefore found a monotheistic religion namely Judaism which totally prohibited idol-worship, Abraham was followed by his son Issac, who was followed by Jacob, then by Moses who freed Jews from Pharonic Egyptian captivity and gave 10 commandments to the Jews, followed by David, followed by King Solomon who established Jewish state in Promised Land for the Jews in modern day Israel. All the Biblical stories are historical facts, however they are dated from Prophet Abraham who left for the Promised Land. The events from Adam till Abraham must have been occurred in prehistoric times since the Jewish calendar dates from 4854 BC. Therefore the western indologists who falsified Vedic and Puranic histories and termed them as mythologies and shortened our Bhartiya history to only 5000 years should be criticized as they equated our long cylical history and shortened its timespan to their short Abrahmic history which is linear which occurred after Noah’s flood after the start of Jewish calendar and the start of Abrahmic culture in Middle East. Since the Christian invaders and cunning Indologists supporting them like Maxmueller manipulated our Vedic texts and Puranic history and shortened our long historic timespan. The British rulers in order to rule India, to make conversions and spread western education introduced the false Aryan Invasion theory which they cunningly proved that the original settlers of Aryavarta or Bharat – the Aryans where invaders, this was the greatest blunder done by British Christian invaders to prove their  own greatness and advancement over Indians as they already knew the greatness and historical antiquity of India which was the mother of all cultures, languages, religions and civilizations. So to demean and degrade India they devised this deceptive Aryan Invasion theory which is now proved to be illogical and redundant by both western and Indian historian scholars and academicians. The main objective of the British Christian invaders by terming Vedas and Puranas as mythologies was to falsify our Vedic history by which the Indian masses will look to western culture for science and technology which is modern and advanced. They will forget their own culture and western ideals will appeal to them. It will help missionary and Church activities in India and help in spreading western English education which until now was given in Sanskrit in Vedic Pathsahalas and many Vedic subjects where taught that were useful for the material and spiritual growth of a person making him well-equipped with material and spiritual knowledge .

Now the time has come after independence that the great Puranic history in Bhagvat  Purana which is  authentic as per Bhartiya Dharmic history written by the great Sage VedVyas be introduced in academic curriculum for students to study in historical books by not seeing Bhagvat Purana as a religious text for incorporating it in education by the secular Government but more as a authentic,  true, real and factual written history of all the events that occurred during a particular Manu Epoch, the Mahayuga and Yuga cycles which occurred therein and is real authentic Sanatan Dharma history. Bhagvat history is long, philosophically descriptive and vivid than the Abrahmic history which the western Christian Indologists termed as mythologies. Therefore the present day Government after independence don’t want it in school curriculum. However theistic Indian Indologists or academicians should prove the authenticity of Bhagvat Purana to the Indian Government and make it implement in school history books by which theism will increase and atheism will decrease and Bhagvat history will get authentic backing. To conclude the entire prophetic line from Adam till Jesus until Mohammad is very short in duration from its start to end than Dharmic history which is cyclical and hence there will always be schism between western indologists and scholars to grasp the long Bhartiya Dharmic history which is cyclical.  As a matter of fact this schism between Abrahamic history and Dharmic history will end when Dharmic history will be considered as authentic and not mythology by Abrahamics because Bhagvat Purana ends until the Mahabharat period i.e. 5000 years ago and from there on the Jewish or Biblical history starts i.e. from 5854 years ago or the history which occurred in Mesopotamia which also has its roots in India. Now the time has come to unravel the real and factual incidents that occurred in Bhagvat history by negating western historians and Indologists who call them as mythologies and prove them that India is the root of all cultures and civilizations including the Abrahmic culture.
