This year’s meeting was themed “Institutional Protection of ISKCON,” and the GBC spent most of its meeting time discussing strategies and interventions for the better insulation and fortification of ISKCON.

DAY ONE:

Day 1 began with welcomes, introductions, and an overview of expected outputs and meeting format presented by GBC Chairman Govardhan Dasa. He emphasized alignment with Srila Prabhupada’s instructions as the foundation for institutional protection.

Morning Session: ISKCON Leaders Survey

A comprehensive presentation on the ISKCON Leaders Survey, administered by the GBC ESO, followed. The survey collated feedback from leaders across the world to better understand current challenges and opportunities, to hear directly from those serving on the ground, and to inform the Midterm General Meetings’ strategic discussions.

The presentation and facilitated feedback were led by Nanda Kishor Dasa and Parijata Devi Dasi (GBC ESO), who highlighted key themes and invited clarifying questions to guide the next steps. The session featured breakout groups focused on topics such as care for devotees, devotee association, appreciation for leaders, creating a cooperative and supportive culture amongst leaders, and more, followed by plenary discussions.
