With a very heavy heart we would like to inform that on May 27, 2021 (Pratipat & Appearance tithi of Sri Narada Muni), H. G. Mahaprabhu das left his body. He was a very good health and spirits till his last breath and finally left due to a cardiac arrest, at his home in Mumbai.
Mahaprabhu Prabhu had joined ISKCON at Mumbai on the inaugural day of the Juhu Temple in 1978. Since then he was involved in serving as a legal advisor for various matters of ISKCON India. In his initial years he served with HH Tamal Krishna Goswami & HH Giriraj Swami & thereafter he serviced with HH Radhanath Swami and team, as one of the founding members of the Radha Gopinath Temple in Chowpatty, Mumbai. In 1979 he began a weekly satsanga program at his residence in Khar, which was the first nama-hatta in Mumbai and has been hosting it till today. Across 43 years of service in ISKCON, Mahaprabhu Prabhu preached to & cultivated hundreds of people and introduced them to the path of Bhakti, at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupad.
His family requests all the devotees to pray for his spiritual journey in the mission of Srila Prabhupad and Lord Chaitanya.
