Harinama

Harinama sankirtan is the congregational chanting of the holy name of the Lord. It was inaugurated by Lord Caitanya, who is Krishna Himself, 500 years ago in Bengal India. Chanting the holy names of the Lord not only benefits the chanter, but anyone who hears the holy name receives eternal spiritual benefit.

Now devotees following in Lord Caitanya’s footsteps chant the holy name of the Lord to spiritually uplift everyone. Devotees have become a familiar sight in many citites and towns around the world, you may have seen them dancing down the street chanting Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
