My very good assistant Suta Goswami from Kolkata, has handed me 9 colossal japa meditation beads, for chanting on. The recipients of the beds will be receiving diksha and this is the procedure, their mentor, or guru, chants on them for their initiation which takes place on Sunday morning. The active guide or teacher for the sweet candidates in Suta himself. I become more like a blesser.

In Mayapura, the road is ornamented with rangoli, colourful powder in swirls and designs. It makes any pedestrian joyful. Despite the crowded numbers, people seem to respect the decorations and leave them alone.

My trail this morning led to the Samadhi of our guru, Prabhupada, where I had a planned interview with Vaiyasaki, that well-established bhajan singer from Canada. He started singing in the Synagogue when young, in Winnipeg and event on to play music with Neil Young and Randy Bachman, but he was destined for bhajan, songs for Krishna.

By the way I was the interviewer and I gathered what material I could for a future book, "Krishna In the Maple Leaf", But first I must publish my book on poetry.

Many more festivities took place at the holy site of Mayapura but I was quite occupied with our private performance for Ambarish (Henry Ford's great grandson) and manager of the TOVP, the temple of the Vedic planetarium, whose name is Braj Vilas.

It was our first drama presentation of "The Age of Kali". Oh! They liked it.
