On June 27-29, 2025, Gita Nagari Farm in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, hosted a weekend-long 20th Tirobhava of His Holiness Bhakti Tirtha Swami. The event drew many devotees from around the world for three days of ecstatic kirtan, absorbing classes, heartfelt reflections, and more to celebrate the life, teachings, and lasting influence of a spiritual master known for his fearless service and deep dedication to Srila Prabhupada’s mission.
Friday’s program began with the first gathering at Bhakti Tirtha Swami’s Samadhi. A shower of flowers flowed as if from the spiritual world during the puspanjali. The mood was reflective as Je Anilo was sung in his remembrance. Everyone moved in unison, and the Samadhi atmosphere remained vibrant and prayerful throughout the afternoon.
In the evening, senior disciples of Srila Prabhupada offered memories of Bhakti Tirtha Swami in a two-part panel. Sri Iśopanisad Devi Dasi and others echoed sentiments when describing his hearty and caring mood of accountability, especially in regard to those whose voices were underrepresented. They shared stories of his uniquely impactful leadership style, unwavering loyalty to his spiritual master, and how he brought Krishna consciousness into unexpected places. As the moon began to rise, Gaura Vani led a closing kirtan in the temple hall that was ecstatically charged.
