This diagnosis significantly impairs his ability to control his actions and feelings, leading to behaviors that are inconsistent with his character and values.
Although the diagnosis was only recently confirmed, Giriraj Swami has been affected by the condition for some time, and there have been noticeable changes in his behavior as a result. One of the challenges of this debilitating condition is that those afflicted are often unaware of their impaired functioning and altered behavior.
A team of medical specialists and dedicated caregivers, serving under the guidance of senior Vaishnavas, is providing Giriraj Swami with the support and care he needs.
