The GBC expresses appreciation and support to the Gift Prabhupada project team for reaching out to hundreds of Srila Prabhupada’s disciples worldwide with a personalized offering of gratitude for their lifelong commitment to Srila Prabhupada and his mission.
The gift — a miniature lifelike brass murti of Srila Prabhupada in a box with a fragment of the jackfruit tree under which Srila Prabhupada was born and a profound quote from his letter — is a deeply significant memento that inspires Srila Prabhupada’s disciples in their relationships with him.
The GBC offers the Gift Prabhupada project their blessings for its success in achieving its goal to extend Srila Prabhupada’s presence — both in his murti form and in his spirit of care and affection — to all Srila Prabhupada’s disciples and encourages ISKCON devotees worldwide to participate in this important effort.
As of March 22, 2025, over 1,100 of Srila Prabhupada’s disciples in almost 20 countries received these gifts. Many expressed that these murtis of Srila Prabhupada were the most precious gifts they had ever received, thanking Srila Prabhupada for yet another return into their lives and hearts. (See videos) Many also wished for these gifts to be given to their Godsiblings as well. An estimated 1,500 of Srila Prabhupada’s disciples are yet to receive Srila Prabhupada in this murti form.
