Finding What We Have Lost

Sometimes when we lose something which is very valuable and necessary for us, such as our wallet, it becomes such a great disturbance that our entire consciousness becomes absorbed in finding that missing thing. For example, even while eating we may think of that missing thing instead of our meal. Or we may awaken in the morning to find ourselves wondering where is that missing valuable as the only thing worth thinking about.

In the same way we should realize that we have lost the absolutely most essential valuable item of our existence, the association of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna, and we should thus intensely absorb our entire consciousness in finding that sublime all-merciful Supreme Personality of Godhead, searching, searching, searching for Him everywhere until finally we are reunited with Him in our svarupa, our eternal relationship with Him in the spiritual sky.
