Chida-dahi Mahotsav celebrated today on the banks of river Ganga. Sri Sri Gaura Nitai deites were installed on a beautiful altar. HH Bhakti Nityananda Maharaj and HH Gauranga Prema Swami Maharaj spoke on the pastime of Danda Mahotsava. Many different preparations of chipped rice soaked in milk, yogurt and different fruits like mango, jackfruit and bananas were lovingly prepared in large quantities and offered to Sri Gaura –Nitai. . All the devotees bathed their own deities of Gaura Nitai in the Ganga and the devotees also respectfully bathed in mother Ganga. All the devotees honored Chida dahi prasada, remembering the pastime of Pannihati festival and mercy of Sri Nityananda Prabhu. Many of our Bengali Bhakti Sastri and Bhakti Vaibhava students also took part in the festival.
