Bhaktivedanta Vidyapeet Research Centre (BVRC) in affiliation with the Mumbai University recently conducted a Sri Caitanya Caritamrta Diploma Course. The course was delivered by renowned speaker, Gauranga Das, the Director of BVRC. He gave inspiring and empowering series of lectures on Sri Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, amounting up to 100+ hours of discourses. More than 120 keen participants from across the globe attended all the course modules which consisted of three sessions, each four days, during the period of July to November 2019.
The course aimed to provide a focused, structured & detailed study into the life & teachings of Caitanya Mahaprabhu and the prescribed assessments were conducted from July to November 2019.
BVRC presented “Caitanya Subhodhini” by Gauranga Darshan Das, as the study guide to all the participants to assist them in a systematic study and assessments of the Caitanya-caritamrita course.
The event was also hosted a short talk by Chandramauli Swami (Initiating Spiritual Master, ISKCON), who also presented the certificates during the Award Ceremony to the participants. Dr. Sumanta Rudra, Dean, Academic Affairs and Anurag Pareek, Dean Administration also gave their presentations on ongoing and upcoming projects of BVRC.
With a vision for the revitalization of the value systems, lifestyle and culture of the society by providing academic education enriched with wisdom from ancient Indian philosophical traditions, Bhakti Vedanta Research Centre (BVRC) plans to launch a series of short term and long term in the coming year 2020 pertaining to Bhakti texts of Vaisnava School.
