Essence of Spritual advancement

Essence of Spritual advancement

Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu says that attitude of humbleness is the secret which paves the way to chanting pure holy names, eventually it leads to fully dependence on Shree Krsna. That's why He writes, " Trinadapi sunichena tarorapi sahisnuna" Who thinks himself down even than a grass, who is more tolerant than a tree & who is always ready to give respect to others rather than thinking about his own respect, he can always chant the holy names of Shree Hari. Vaishanavas possess these qualities. Vaishanavas are tolerant as they are down to Earth & more humble than a grass. If someone insults a Vaishanava, then he ignores it & on the same time focuses on more purification of his consciousness. But

it is a herculean task to achieve real humbleness. Srila Prabhupada made it very simple by just engaging two sense organs, first tongue in chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra & secondly ear in hearing that transcendental sound. There is deep relation between humbleness & continuous pure chanting. Humbleness is not the result of knowledge. But it comes by surrendering to Hare Krishna Mahamantra & continuous chanting. The nature of our mind is flickering & uncontrollable. It's speed is much much more than a space craft, after all it is a human mind which created this. By chanting His holy names & hearing simultaneously, we purify our consciousness through releasing all contaminations & false ego. Most importantly it booted out all arrogance & stop further contaminations. Thus our mind arrives at the state of stability, perfection, full bliss & a Devotee quickly becomes humble. A pure Vaishanava devotees follow this in any circumstances & this the key of success to their humbleness. Srila Prabhupada says, " Our possibility of success in spiritual advancement depends 99% on pure Chanting". All glories to Guru & Gaurang.
