Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

People are born as Hindus, because of their meritorious deeds in previous births. Some people are born in the non-Hindu religions but they quickly purify themselves and return to Hinduism.

A real Hindu is one who is committed to lead a Vedic way of life. One who rejects the divine Vedas, is not a Hindu , though he was born in that religion.

Bhagavan Sri Krishna is the supreme Personality of Godhead. He is the embodiment of *Parabrahman* ( Supreme Brahman). Krishna's teachings ( Srimad Bhagavad Gita) contain the essence of the Vedas. Anyone having pure faith is Sri Krishna is systematically purified and the divine Gita is absorbed in his heart.

 Couple of years back, Bhagavan Sri Krishna's opinion was sought by ritualistic Vedic means ( Ashtamangala Devaprasna) in Guruvayoor Sri Krishna temple . Bhagavan stated, " Only Hindus having faith in Deity-worship should be allowed to enter my temple for worship" .

Some Hindus who are corrupted by the so called "secularist" reject the authority of the Vedas, but still claim to be Hindus. Such Veda-haters can neither  attain Krishna nor they can understand the confident knowledge of Gita.

Even the teachings of Swamy Vivekanandan are being misinterpreted by his greedy disciples to promote their business interests in western countries . People reading such adulterated literature, get misguided . It is such misguided People who are "intending" similarities between Hinduism and anti-vedic Abrahamic religions. In reality, Swamy Vivekananda had strictly adhered to the Vedas . He stated clearly, "Anyone considering self to be a born-sinner is not a Hindu".

Bhagavan Sri Krishna says in Srimad Bhagavad Gita  (9.32-34):

"However weak or humble or sinful they may be , even the low-born People, Women, Vaisyas , Sudras , or whoever, are certain to attain the supreme destination,  if they take refuge in Me ( Sri Krishna) . How much more, then, holy Brahmans and royal Sages devoted to Me !  Therefore, having come to this temporary and miserable world, engage yourself in My worship. Always absorb your mind in Me, become My devotee,  offer obeisances to Me and worship Me . In this way, being completely absorbed in Me , you will certainly come to  Me.. "
