Dear Devotees,
After spending several months on life support, Prabhu has made the profound decision to discontinue the machines that are sustaining his physical body. He is presently at the VA Hospital in Los Angeles, where local devotees are coming together to be with him and surround him with the transcendental sound of the Holy Names. Sankirtana is being performed at his bedside, offering him the sacred association of devotees and helping his consciousness remain lovingly absorbed in Krishna and Srila Prabhupada during this most important transition.
All glories to HG Drutakarma Prabhu for his many decades of extraordinary and dedicated service to Srila Prabhupada’s mission.
His remarkable contributions to the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT), the Bhaktivedanta Institute (BI), and the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (ToVP) have touched and enriched the lives of countless devotees and spiritual seekers throughout the world.
The news that Prabhu is preparing for his final journey at the VA Hospital in Los Angeles fills our hearts with both sadness and deep appreciation for his life of service.
It is especially beautiful and auspicious that devotees are gathering around him, performing sankirtana and giving him the association of the Holy Names at this sacred moment. May his consciousness remain fully absorbed in Krishna, in Krishna’s pastimes, and in the loving shelter of Srila Prabhupada as he prepares for his next destination.
Let us all come together in prayer for HG Drutakarma Prabhu, praying that his departure may be peaceful, auspicious, and glorious, and that he may return home, back to Godhead, under the divine shelter of Sri Krishna and Srila Prabhupada.
