We have always heard the statement that God works in mysterious ways. We’ve always heard the statement that we have our plans and Krishna has His plans. So I can only say that we should continue to endeavor sincerely and we should wait for Krishna to reveal His hand.

Just like I was speaking to the person from OSCE in Kazakhstan here the other day. And I told him, his name was Dyorn, I said “Dyorn, I’m really not a politician. I haven’t been a politician my whole life.

I’ve been basically a guy that likes to chant mantras and tries to do spiritual practice and read spiritual books and teach the people about the benefit that I’ve experienced. Doing any sort of politics is not my game.” Just like in my life also I never played cards. Somebody told me that they were very addicted to gambling, which is sort of a politic also, the way you play the game and the way you play cards on the table and you always want to hold the card that’s going to kill everyone right at the very end, and you want to throw that card down and fill up a big sack of money. That’s what they do in the movies [everyone laughs]. But Krishna, you know, He holds His cards and we don’t know what card Krishna is going to play. We don’t.

We do know that Krishna wants us to be sincere. We do know that Krishna wants us to be spiritual. We do know that Krishna wants us to preach. But just what He may do, how He may execute that, we’re not sure at this moment.

We don’t know what Krishna will do. But our business is to serve. Under any circumstance, our business is to be Krishna’s servant and the servant of Krishna’s servant. Irregardless of whatever we do we should never forget that we are servants of the servants.

Because when we forget that we are servants of servants we become angry and proud. And we spoil relationships and then everything becomes very difficult for everyone. Which is a very horrible situation. Already so many problems coming from all the directions. And then we forget that we are servants and we start creating problems amongst one another. It’s a very horrible thing.

Srila Prabhupada, again, he always said if you remember that you are a servant you’ll be assured of going to Krishnaloka. But when you think that you can start speaking down to people, or chastising or making people hurt by your words, or spoiling relationships, because you feel yourself to be more intelligent, then that doesn’t give you the right, or the adhikara, to go up, but that gives you the right to go down. And basically when we behave that way we feel ourselves going down, just like life starts going out of proper focus. That happy and simple life of Krishna consciousness becomes left behind.

And things become complicated mess.

So we shouldn’t be that way. We should be correct in our service, always have good attitude of service. And then we just humbly and submissively wait and see what Krishna will do.
We shouldn’t humbly and submissively wait while being lazy. We should all very enthusiastically serve. Very enthusiastically. So much to do. So much to do. So much service to do. So let us be Krishna conscious, let us keep making our endeavors and let us see what Giriraja has in store.
