A few stories from Ekantita-buddi dasa who has been distributing books in Chernivtsi, Ukraine since the beginning of the military conflict in the Eastern parts of Ukraine.

It’s been a month since we distribute books in Chernivtsi. Already distributed more than 1000 books for April.
It is very difficult to practice and maintain your faith on your own. But when you start preaching and telling others about Krishna, then everything starts to come alive. And your faith increases and your desire to share with others grows. This is a very effective method and it is available to everyone.
Lots of interesting stories:
1) I’m walking along the main street and then a woman comes out and says Hare Krishna prabhu, I want to buy Bhagavad Gita in Ukrainian from you, I already saw books yesterday, and today Paramatma says from my heart I need to go and buy a book! She is very happy that she bought this book.
2) Two women from the Dnipro, visited different temples in Thailand and they are interested in the Vedas. I offered the one-volume book “Krishna” and she took it for her daughter, she loves to read big books.
3) At Easter I met a man with his family, it turned out that he had been looking for the Bhagavad Gita for a long time and was already going to buy online, and then we met. He was very glad of such a meeting and bought 2 more books.
4) One gentleman took a book, he says “I’m just sitting and thinking, so that I can read.”
5) Vadim immediately liked the books, as soon as he saw them, a very sincere soul, he bought Gita and a couple more books. His wife disappeared in the war, he brings up his 6-year-old son.
6) I offered the gentleman books, he said that he heard about flying ships of vimana and levitation. I say that this knowledge is much higher. He gladly accepted the book. Searched for Vimanika shastra, found Bhakti shastra.
7) I took 3 identical books and one small “Beyond birth and death” in a bag just in case. Suddenly, a devotee came up and asked for this particular book for his friend. I offered him other books, he said that he needed this particular book. I was very surprised..
8) One male photographer, who took a book from me, photographed me as I chanted Gayatri and posted it on his website, saying that the energy of peace is transmitted through this photo.

We continue to distribute books every day. Krishna sends amazing people who have been looking for spiritual knowledge for a long time or those who are just looking for a new path in their lives.
One girl, when she heard about the Vedas, immediately said: oh, this is already interesting, give me something serious, not for beginners, and she took the Bhagavad Gita.
Another soldier in ordinary clothes took the book as a charm for himself.
And another woman came up and aggressively asked about how this knowledge could help during the war. I explained that everyone is busy with their own business and the most important thing is that we have peace inside and then we can help others. In the end, she apologized and changed her mind after talking.
So Krishna interestingly arranges all these situations and sends the right people.
