Devotees are invited to participate in a rare and transformative opportunity this fall: the Career Dharma Workshop led by Urmila Devi Dasi (Dr. Edith Best), a senior disciple of Śrīla Prabhupāda, respected educator, and author of Career Dharma: The Natural Art of Work. The introductory course will be held on November 14-16, 2025, at New Vrindaban, West Virginia, USA.
What Is Career Dharma?
Career Dharma refers to the alignment of one’s inner nature (dharma) with one’s outer service (kriyā). Rather than being placed arbitrarily in roles, devotees discover the service best suited to their temperament, inclinations, and devotional strengths.
Urmila Devi Dasi’s teachings provide tools such as the “Nine Principles of Dharma” and the “Four Fields,” guiding participants to identify their natural field of contribution and avoid the burnout that comes from misaligned service.
