Jai shree krishna.
since i have gained spiritual knowledge one question remained in my mind is who is Ram and who is krishna and another is why Ram is called Marya purushottam and why Krishna is called purna purushottam .?
today i got somewhat answer . and i like to share it with you . i hope i am right in what i am saying , if not
please do add your suggestions to it.everybody is welcome
Ram -
background - lived in Satyug. had one wife -SITA . was a son of Dasrath.
Why Maryada Purushottam ? - he lived always in Maryada(limitation) like he has only one wife . ancient reference says he always hit once the target . and he never say thing twice and stick to what he has said.
actually as we all know RAM was incarnation of Vishnu. so by having this life God suggest us the way of living . everybody must live in Maryada. and limits . as one said truthfully "ATI SARVATRA NASYATE" . means whatever which is too much must destroy.
Krishna
Here everybody know his background who he is what he has done.
why Purna Purushottam ? - first his appereance he stood cross legged which suggests he is protector and he stood firm and he has balance. second he has power to give life back (Ref. Parikshit given life.) in Gita also he him self said he is everything and everything is him . everything starts in him and ends him and he is supreme lord. so by this means he is purna purushottam .

Hey i am not saying anybody superior . i am just saying both teach the lessons which are different and help ful in life . as we always heard "Jaisa ram kare waisa karo and jaisa krishna Kahe waisa karo " so both are unique and have place in our life and i have read the ram charitmans and i am here to clarify the maryapurushottam and purna purushottam. not ram and krishna.... :)thanks for comment i must appriciate the same.
So you mean krishna is superior than ram.
But you can not compare both because both are one personality. As in shri mad bhagwat krishna says that ram was his previous birth. and one more thing you said that ram was in satyuga, this is not currect. he was in tretayuga.
I think you have not read ramcharitmanas. You will find your every doubt clear in that.
