Andhasyaivāndha lagnasya nyāyaḥ (association with the blind)
If one associates with a blind person, he is sure to develop same blindness.
This is particularly the case of persons blind in the subject matters of morality, wisdom, culture, spiritual knowledge, and detachment from matter. An intelligent man can hardly appreciate the association of such blind people. How they became blind? Their blindness is caused by the glitter of materialistic association with women, and money, which is another form of womanhood. Booth represent the original super-excellent form of woman, anayārādhito nūnaṁ, who is the best worshipper of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Intelligent man is afraid that he may end up in the dark ditch of the material existence, if he tries to independently to associates with Her, because he will be strike blinded be Her servitor maidens. Thus he is eager to follow the men of noble section of society, who are imbued with the spiritual sight of Kṛṣṇa-bhakti, to gain experience how properly deal with this Supermost Lakṣmī. The blindness is cured, and one sees everything with perfect eyes.
