ISKCON Congregational Development Ministry (CDM) had a successful performance during the recent convention of the 2016 ISKCON Leaders Sanga (ILS) in Sridham Mayapur. Amongst many achievements, these were the highlights:
- Facilitated 9 seminars in 33 presentations to an estimate of a 1000 devotees.
- Distributed several hundreds of pamphlets and many attendees purchased books and different materials of our congregational programs.
- In collaboration with the ISKCON Youth Ministry the CDM organized the first Youth Leadership Sanga (YLS) with the participation of youth leaders from UK, USA, Australia, Malaysia, South Africa and Indonesia. Senior Srila Prabhupada’s disciples addressed these young leaders to inspire them in their services. A Youth Manual will be produced for devotees to further youth programs worldwide.
- Promotion of 2 Congregational Counseling training courses.
- Organized the Annual Congregational Award ceremony to recognize the preaching efforts of ISKCON leaders.
The CDM booth was one of the most active and well attended of the event.
We are extremely grateful to the ILS organizers for the opportunity to serve the devotees and promote congregational development amongst ISKCON leaders. We hope that our endeavors are pleasing to Srila Prabhupada and his devotees.
