This world is a place of anxiety, and we are brainwashed to believe that money is the solution to almost all our problems. The result of this mindset? When we perceive that we have too little money, our anxiety amplifies. If we haven’t learned this lesson already, here it is. We will always perceive that we have too little money. Why? This is the nature of the planet we live on! Even the wealthy are attracted to amassing more fortune.
Visualize a mother and father watching their children play in the backyard through the kitchen window. They keep an eye on their children, whether they are acting like humans or monkeys. The truth is that, from Krishna’s perspective, our perceived money problems are so small they are more like monkey problems, serious to us but insignificant for our eternal selves.
For souls experiencing life on this planet, there is a constant nagging desire for more. More money, more comfort, more food, more everything!
