In Sansktm language and in English language, all days of the week are named after demigods:

Sunday -- day of the Sun, means father's day
Monday -- day of the Moon, means mother's day
Tuesday -- day of the Tyr, belongs to justice.
Wednesday: day of the powerfull Woden.
Thursday: day of the Thor's Day.
Friday: day of the powerfull Odin's wife
Saturday: day of the Saturn

Ravivara -- day of the Sun, means father's day
Somavara -- day of the Moon, means mother's day
Mangalavara -- day of the Mangal
Budhavara -- day of the Budha
Brihaspativara -- day of the Brihaspati
Shukravara -- day of the Brihaspati
Shanivara -- day of the Shani

As vedas states all this demigods rule their planets -- Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn accordingly.

And this is exactly the same natural knowlege of the Bharata Varsha people and Roman people.

Now in Europe and in India 3 days of the week has the same declarative meaning, I prefer to say the same mood -- Monday, Sunday and Saturday.

So you better read in vedas what kind of activities are the most successfull in these days of the week, because astrology
really works)
