13536886075?profile=RESIZE_584xThe Bhakti Center in New York City is set to host a four-day “Career Dharma Coaching Certification” program from April 24 to 27, led by renowned educator and spiritual teacher Urmila Devi Dasi (Dr. Edith Best). This intensive immersion, based on the book Career Dharma: The Natural Art of Work, is designed for individuals who are passionate about guiding others toward fulfilling, purpose-driven careers that align with their spiritual values.

Participants in the course will be trained to assist others in identifying their ideal career fields and prosperity types, progressing toward dharmic mastery, and discovering how to infuse their professional lives with meaning through the lens of devotional living. The training promises to equip attendees with the tools to support clients in achieving both career satisfaction and spiritual growth.

The April 24 to 27 program schedule includes evening sessions on Thursday and Friday (7:00–9:00 p.m.), followed by full-day immersive sessions on Saturday and Sunday (10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), with lunch provided on both weekend days. All sessions will be held at the Bhakti Center’s 5E Yoga Studio. Admission for the course is $197.

To be eligible for the certification, participants must meet at least one of the following prerequisites: having read Parts One and Two of the Career Dharma book, completed the Career Dharma online course, or attended all five in-person sessions of Career Dharma previously taught by Dr. Best. While prior experience in coaching, counseling, or teaching is not mandatory, it is considered beneficial.

Certification is awarded based on demonstrated proficiency rather than attendance alone. Candidates must be able to explain the six prosperity types and four career fields clearly, recall the nine principles of Career Dharma from memory, and successfully coach others during the course. Each participant will be expected to help at least three classmates understand their prosperity type and field, and assist one peer in developing a personalized dharmic career plan.

This program is ideal for those with a natural inclination toward counseling and personal development, especially individuals aligned with the traditional Fields of Ideas or Government.
