Beautifully illustrated Kṛṣṇa conscious children’s books have long been treasured by families within the Vaiṣṇava community. Building on this tradition, Sweet Hill Publications has released two new titles that invite young readers into the world of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava scripture through engaging narrative journeys: Śrī Nārada Muni’s search to discover the greatest recipient of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s mercy in Nārada’s Quest, and the loving exchange between Śrī Mādhavendra Purī and Lord Kṛṣṇa, told from the Lord’s own perspective, in Me & Mr Purī.
Rather than offering simplified retellings, both books preserve the richness of the original scriptures while making their teachings accessible, engaging and meaningful for younger audiences. Together, the two publications contain more than 300 full-color illustrated pages, designed for repeated reading and intended to become lasting resources for homes, schools, temples and libraries.
Created as devotional offerings in service to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission, both books introduce young readers to the lives of great devotees, the beauty of devotional service, and the wisdom of guru, sādhu and śāstra.
