I was clearly camouflaged sitting there amidst the autumn foliage by the Rideau River. Seagulls water fanatics with wings flying about the lovely skies anticipating that anything human would be the source of morsels. I didn’t have anything to give them, only some attention. I actually find them entertaining. There are also squirrels scattered here and there, some rustling through the fallen leaves.
Whether on the ground or on the trees those yellow/orange soon to be compost, became as easy blend for my robes. That blending in made it hard for a man and child to see me as they merged from the parking lot at Strathcona Park. I spotted them a father with young daughter in his arms. “How sweet!” I thought.
As the two got closer I would discuss who they were , he being an acquaintance or a doctor, a disciple in fact, and his daughter, Aarya. Sreyas, the dad didn’t know and would be there ,just as I had no idea he would be present. It was my down time, Perhaps it was his up time, moments with her. Anyways, Surprise! Surprise! We both met blending into the environment. That is always a concept to apply. Instead of having conflict with natures elements and people in general, let us harmonize and merge in the spirit of a wholesome co-operation. Hive in the moment with the environment. Protect it All that kind of good stuff. I say to people to balance your indoor and outdoor time. With nature you get closer to its Creator.
