The Bhaktivedanta Institute for Higher Studies (BIHS) is set to host a special hybrid screening of Nature’s IQ, a visually striking documentary that blends science, philosophy, and art. The film is based on the award-winning book Nature’s I.Q.: Extraordinary Animal Behaviors That Defy Evolution by Īśvara Kṛṣṇa Dāsa (Dr. István Tasi) and Balázs Hornyánszky, and is directed by Kristina Danka, Ph.D. (Krishna Lila Devi Dasi).
Scheduled for Saturday, September 27, at 1:00 PM EST, the event will take place both in person and online via Zoom, giving audiences worldwide the chance to participate. In-person attendees will also enjoy popcorn and snacks as part of the $10 ticket price.
Through breathtaking cinematography and storytelling, Nature’s IQ explores instinctive animal behaviors that continue to perplex modern science. From the precision engineering of the Mallee fowl’s nest to the delicate cooperation of the Cleaner Wrasse with larger fish, the film raises thought-provoking questions about whether these phenomena suggest the presence of a deeper intelligence guiding nature.
The screening is open to the public, and BIHS encourages participants to invite friends, family, and neighbors to join this poetic exploration of the mysteries of life.
