On July 18th, the “Bhakti: The Art of Krishna” exhibit opened to the public for a limited one-month run, concluding on August 18th. The one-of-a-kind exhibition takes patrons on a transformative journey through Lord Krishna’s life, from his childhood Gokul to the giving of the Gita on the Battlefield of Kurukshetra.

The exhibit is housed at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, where Founder and Chairperson Mrs. Nita Ambani was on hand with Radhanath Swami to inaugurate the unique artwork, which tells “a story of love, devotion, and spirituality.” The program included a devotional discourse and kirtan before curator Ashvin E. Rajagopalan led guests on an immersive walk through the four levels of the exhibit. Also present for the inauguration were Ms. Isha Ambani and Gauranga Das from the Govardhan EcoVillage, as well as many other esteemed guests.

According to Mrs. Ambani the world-class centre is part of a dream she shares with her daughter Isha.  “The NMACC is envisioned as a platform to spotlight Indian arts and culture at its best, both for the audience and the artists. A truly inclusive centre for performers and visitors, for dreamers and creators, for one and all. With world-class infrastructure and robust programming, our aim isto make the arts accessible to everyone.”
