Bhakti Sanga Japa group aims to “Krishnaize” - spiritualize every moment of our day.
Each day begins early in the morning with congregational chanting - japa, followed by Srimad Bhagavatam class, usually given by senior devotees. For members that are busy in the morning, there is yet another mid-morning chanting session followed by a class on Chaitanya Charitamrta. There are several thematic sessions, offered on an ad-hoc basis during the week on topics about our acharyas, Srila Prabhupada Lilamrta, important festivals, holy days and places, Vaishnava prayers/songs and their purports. The classes are structured to facilitate discussions and enhance our spiritual understanding. Interested group members can join the classes or chanting sessions through free skype calls, phone calls or internet applications from the very comfort of their homes!
Since inception, the goal of Bhakti Sanga Japa group is to further Lord Chaitanya’s mission using technology to connect people from around the world –

One of the most significant initiatives of the Bhakti Sanga Japa group has been to motivate and empower our future generation by offering classes on week nights to children ages 3 – 15 in the United States based on the instructions of Srila Prabhupada - “Sow the seed of Krishna Consciousness in children… Our children are the gift given by mercy of the Lord, they are delicate. Take care of them with Love and Devotion, by giving them Krishna Consciousness.”. To ensure maximum participation, the classes are divided into 3 age groups, each limited to 30 min interactive sessions.
The youngest group consists of children 3 - 6 years of age. The class format includes Vaishnava mantras, Hare Krishna kirtan, Krishna stories, Bhagavad Gita verses and Krishna rhymes. The mantras and verses are reviewed every day for better memorization.
Children in the 7 – 10 years age group chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra, memorize verses and follow a structured course work on spiritual topics. There are assignments and tests to ensure that children are learning the course content.
Older kids between the ages of 11 – 15 learn Bhagavad Gita and Vaishnava songs. The Bhakti Sanga group has also created a platform to encourage these young, budding devotees make presentations and share their realizations during the conference calls every Sunday. The goal is to provide a forum for our future generation to speak confidently on topics from our scriptures.
By the grace and mercy of our spiritual masters, Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Radha Krishna, the Bhakti Sanga Japa group aspires to impact the lives of several devotees around the world irrespective of their access to ISKCON centers, by facilitating online sessions. That’s SANGA, Haribol!
