Chitralekha devi *dasi's daughter Sarisha, a civil engineer, was a participant at the 2010
South African Spiritual Retreat with BCS GuruMaharaja. Typically, in great awe
and respect of GuruMaharaja, she composed the following poem, this I share
with you all:
*Japa Walk with His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaja*
*Small Feet, Quick Step –*
*Barely time to catch one’s breath*
*As we absorb each steady, clear chant –*
*The soft reverberations of*
*‘Hare’, ‘Krishna’ and ‘Rama’ –*
*Maharaja surges forward*
*Determined energy He vents*
*To assist us as we stumblingly try to advance in his footsteps.*
*Thank you, Maharaja, for sharing with us these moments of your life –*
*These precious moments when you show us how to chant japa ‘right’.*
*Through every motion of perfect regal composure you maintain*
*I think: Srila Prabhupada, not only in your books, but also*
*In your spiritual son – His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaja –*
*You remain.*
*Haribol*!
