Attitude of Gratitude!

"Gratitude is our most direct line to God and the angels. If we take the
time, no matter how crazy and troubled we feel, we can find something to be
thankful for," observed the author & first lady of angel books, Terry Lynn
Taylor.

Until we learn to express gratitude, we cannot be peaceful in mind. And how
can there be any happiness for one lacking peace? Without gratitude, we are
likely to be disturbed for we do not see the silver lining. We don’t see
that the situation could be worse. Instead, we see why is it not better?
The moment we think why something is not better, we are ungrateful.

As someone once beautifully remarked, "There is a direct connection between
a peaceful person and a grateful person. A grateful person is automatically
peaceful and a peaceful person is automatically grateful. You cannot say
that your mind is disturbed and you are expressing gratitude at the same
time."

So, what are the ways by which one can express gratitude?

Appreciating someone for the little things seems to be an easy option.
Voltaire said, "Appreciation is a wonderful thing; it makes what is
excellent in others belong to us as well."

Christiane Northrup put it slightly differently when he said, "Feeling
grateful to or appreciative of someone or something in your life actually
attracts more of the things that you appreciate and value into your life."

There are more people in the world hungry for love and appreciation than
who are hungry for food. Appreciation can make a day, even change a life.
Our willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.
