Announcing DevoteeJobs.com

Dear Devotees

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

We are pleased to announce a free new service for devotees: DevoteeJobs.com

Searching for jobs just got easy for devotees! DevoteeJobs.com is a place for devotees to find paid jobs and unpaid service opportunities, be they full-time, part-time, freelance or temporary. It’s easy to search for jobs by location, type, category and skills. And you can post your confidential resume to be viewed by devotee employers.

Are you looking to recruit a devotee? Post your opportunity for free! Any devotee employer in good standing can post a job and browse candidates’ resumes.

The site is not limited to devotional jobs – any job can be posted as long as it does not directly harm our movement.

This website is an independent project to serve the Vaishnavas.

Your servants,

General FAQs
What is a devotee?

A devotee is a member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
What is this website?

This website is a free resource to help devotees find jobs and service opportunities and to help employers recruit devotees.
Is this site really free?

Yes. It will always remain free for candidates to apply for jobs. In future, as our costs increase, we may charge employers for premium services such as featuring jobs on the homepage.
Is this site only for devotional jobs?

No, this site has both devotional jobs and karmi jobs. Our goal is to help devotees situate themselves properly so that they can pursue spiritual life. Karmi jobs help devotees achieve financial security.
What services do you offer?

We are simply a facilitator. We provide a platform for employers and devotees to connect, and we carry no liability for the outcome. By registering on our site you specifically acknowledge this.
How do I register?

A user can have an employer account or a candidate account. This selection is made at the time of creating an account. By default, posting a job creates an employer account and applying for a job or posting a resume creates a candidate account. You can also create an account by clicking on the Sign Up button in the top right corner.
Who is behind this site?

We are a group of Brahmin-initiated ISKCON devotees attempting to serve the Vaishnavas. We do our services under the spiritual authority of ISKCON gurus.

Help for Candidates
Who can apply for jobs and/or post resumes on this website?

Any ISKCON devotee can apply for jobs and/or post resumes. All resume postings are moderated.
How do I apply for a job?

Start by browsing or searching for jobs. When you have found a job that you want to apply for, read its description carefully to check that it is suitable for you and then click on the APPLY FOR JOB button.
How do I keep my identity confidential when posting my resume?

Post enough information about yourself that it gives an employer a good indication about your profile. Do not post your real name if you want to keep your identity secret. Only authorised employers can view resumes.
Whom do I contact for help or to give feedback?

You can reach us at candidates [at] devoteejobs [dot] com.

Help for Employers
Who can post jobs and view resumes?

Any devotee can post a job. Any devotee employer in good standing can view resumes. Approval for an employer account is at our sole discretion.
What kind of jobs can I post?

Any job (paid or unpaid) can be posted as long as it does not directly harm our movement, in our reasonable judgement. All postings are moderated and are approved at our sole discretion. We may amend our policy at any time, without notice.
By posting a job, does it mean I only want to recruit devotees for that job?

No. Posting jobs on this site means you want to specifically target devotees, perhaps because of their attitude, skills and qualifications. This is a positive strategy and has no bearing on your recruitment and organisational policies, and is entirely consistent with offering equal opportunities. Many companies regularly target their recruitment strategies to specific groups of society in order to improve diversity.
Whom do I contact for help or to give feedback?

You can reach us at employers [at] devoteejobs [dot] com.
