Also, it marks the beginning of Chandan Yatra that will eventually leads us to Narasimha Caturdasi. The murtis of Lord Narasimha are also coated generously with sandalwood paste during the duration of Chandan Yatra and special aartis and rituals are held to appease him and seek his blessings.
On this auspicious day, it is said that whatever charity or act of kindness one performs on this day will be multiplied many many times. Therefore, we would auspiciously cease this opportunity to cordially invite you to actively take part in this auspicious event of the Lord.
