The ISKCON Venezuela community regrets to inform you that, after several days of intensive search and rescue efforts, the body of Acintya Līlā Devī Dāsī was recovered today from the rubble of her apartment in La Guaira following the devastating earthquake that struck our country.
The departure of Acintya Līlā Devī Dāsī leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the entire Vaiṣṇava community.
In this time of grief, we offer our heartfelt prayers to Their Lordships Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Giridhārī, Śrī Śrī Parama-Karuṇā Gaura-Nitāi, and Śrī Śrī Lakṣmī-Nṛsiṁha, praying that They bestow Their eternal mercy upon her and grant strength, peace, and comfort to all her loved ones.
We also express our heartfelt gratitude to the rescue organizations and to everyone who participated in the search efforts with dedication, compassion, and hope.
We humbly request the entire community to join us in offering prayers for Acintya Līlā Devī Dāsī and for all the families affected by this tragedy.
