A Little More by Bhaktimarga Swami

There is just a little more I wanted to say in regard to yesterday's flight. After meeting Eli, a young Asian student who took keen interest in my garb and what it all stood for, another person on this plane approached me with a big smile.

"Do you remember me? We only met on the phone. It was during the pandemic 2 1/2 years ago when I was telling you of my 'God experience'. You told me you were sitting on a park bench when we talked."

"Yes, I do remember that bench and the talk," I said. I was giving some practical advice as to where to go now that Krishna had come to his dream. Naturally, I encouraged him to chant, which is a meaningful and mindful form of communication with the Absolute.

I was happy to hear that he's moved on in a most progressive way. I don't know how he got my number and I wasn't sure how he would fare after our conversation. At the terminal, just nearby was his wife and adorable two kids - a son and daughter. I'm glad I was able to assist him in some way with his life's journey.

Such was my reflection while taking an evening stroll, always a good thing for exposure to the elements, reducing blood pressure, assisting the bowl movement and so many other good things. And of course, time to chant.
