Dear Indradyumna Maharaja, please accept my humble bow. Glory to Srila Prabhupada.

Sandipani Muni Prabhu, your older student from Kharkov left the body today at seven in the morning. I saw him the day before, being in Kharkov two weeks ago. Despite his long illness, he was in such an admirable state of Krishna consciousness, he did not speak of anything ’, just chanted on the japa, read and prayed by name to all the devotees in his care.

During the Soviet Union, Sandipani Muni was a military pilot on a cargo plane. He has passed nine military all over the world, left not affected by weapons, just to be told later to come to Krishna and serve God.

At the last stage of life, the devotees assisted him well. Gadadhara Jivana Prabhu was next to him while leaving the body, helping Sandipani Muni prabhu physically and spiritually, repeating Hare Krishna and including the recording of Srila Prabhupada.

The wife of Sandipani Muni, Mataji Prema Sagara, also your student, left her body about a year earlier, February 17, 2017.
She kept repeating on the japa and a few days before she left, she repeated the holy name with every breath, in full consciousness, until with the last breath. She lived her life like a perfect yogini.

They’ve been married for 56 years, never thinking about divorce. They were mentors and an example for many in the community, absolutely strict in their sadhana, sang Mangala-Arati and repeated at a minimum of 16 laps a day at a certain time in the morning.

The doors of their homes were always opened for the devotees, they had a great taste to cook prasad and treat the vaishnavas as their own children. I can personally attest to this as I often stayed in their house.

I dare say that you can be proud of such-students.

Your humble servant
Achyuta Priya Das.
